Farmersville ISD Pathways in Technology (PTECH) Program

Early College High School

The North Central Texas Regional Pathway for Engineering (NCTxRPE) was developed in a collaborative effort between Farmersville, Bland, and Blue Ridge ISD. Funds awarded to Farmersville ISD as the fiscal agent of a Texas Education Agency - Texas Regional Pathways Network - Perkins Reserve Grant for 2021-22 allowed all three schools to acquire supplies and materials needed to enhance STEM programming on their respective campuses. Throughout the development stage of this program, in collaboration with a robust steering committee, FISD applied for additional funding from the Texas Workforce Commission, the Texas Governor's Office, and TEA. Awards enabled FISD to open the FISD Engineering Academy in the Spring of 2022. In the Fall of 2022, all three school districts have been provided with the opportunity to enroll students in the academy programming. We are now seeking to expand this network in order to provide a range of opportunities for work-based learning and educational opportunities. We firmly believe in the power of collaboration.

This program is proud to partner with Workforce Solutions of North Central Texas, The Texas Regional Pathways Network, and Educate Texas.

Teachers, join our community. Collaborate & Share!

Steeped in tradition, pride, and unity, Farmersville ISD fights to provide every student the foundation to fulfill their potential so they will have the opportunity and confidence to dream big.
